Getting Started

All new clients start with a brief phone consultation where we will discuss what brings you to therapy, the modalities and approaches I use along with logistical things like payment and scheduling.

Studies have shown that the best predictor of success in therapy is having a good relationship with your therapist. Let's make sure I'm your person!

If all those things line up, we’ll schedule your first appointment.

Please take a moment to read through the section below as well as healing approach and services to gain a better understanding of the type of somatic therapy I offer.

Preparing For A Session

Intake Paperwork is sent via email and must be completed before the client's first session.

  • Myofascial Release: Please have clean, dry skin the day of your appointment and refrain from applying lotions or oils to your skin as this renders myofascial techniques less effective. For the postural assessment and many treatment techniques, it is best for the client to wear shorts and a tank top.

  • Jin Shin Jyutsu & Transforming Touch®: Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing is recommended. Also recommended to not have a heavy meal right before, treatment more effective when the digestive system isn’t full.

With the changing times due to COVID-19, I take the utmost care and consideration with my safety protocols. To help maintain your safety and health as well as mine, here is what you can expect when you arrive for your appointment:

  • Clients are asked to wash hands upon arrival

  • Masks are now optional during the duration of the session - please let me know if you’d like to wear masks during your session so I can accommodate your needs.
