Why Online Therapy?
Online Therapy sessions use a combination of Jin Shin Jyutsu and Transforming Touch to create a sustainable self-care practice to stay active in daily life. These sessions are designed to help you become your own best resource when it comes to your health.
You’ll be set you up for success by learning how to implement the tools and information to create a sustainable, actionable self-care practice.
How it Works:
The foundation of the Online Therapy sessions are rooted in the teachings and techniques of Jin Shin Jyutsu, a Japanese healing art that works with the energetic systems of the body.
Touch is used to stimulate 26 locations on each side of the body. When stimulated in a certain order, these locations (we call them Safety Energy Locations) work together to open any of the thousands of highly defined energy pathways in the body. When the body is brought into a relaxed state, it gains the ability to truly rest, digest, repair and rebuild itself.
Jin Shin Jyutsu works subtly and gently. While this subtlety is much easier on your body it may take a few sessions to see big changes.
Incorporation of Somatic Experiencing will also be included as a way to grow awareness of the body and process the emotional components connected to it.
The Experience
60-MINUTE SESSION:
A lesson for the self-care that will be practiced during the session, learning the benefits and its effectiveness to address your needs.
Guided meditation to practice the self-care flow(s) with a focus on hand placement and breathing techniques
At the conclusion of the session we will discuss your experience, noting any changes in addition to answering any questions you may have
