The Sweet Smell of Spring
April showers bring May flowers...
but what do May showers bring?
The grey, rainy weather seems to be endless here in the Big Apple. In my hometown of Seattle this dreary, damp weather is expected so it doesn't feel as imposing when it happens.
New York on the other hand, is a city that commutes via walking - only receiving breaks from the outside elements in the form of a subway ride or a taxi.
As much as the rain can be an annoyance for commuting and figuring a fashionable water repellent outfit, this city needs a good bath every once in a while. It's literally Nature's Shower, helping to wash away all the dirt, grime and Lord knows what else.
Something else that seems to be happening frequently in this city is...
ALLERGIES!
I consider myself an anomaly during Spring time because I do not suffer from the big A. However I just battled a cold over the weekend so I can sympathize with all of you who have constant stuffy, runny noses.
This self-help does not discriminate between allergies or colds. It will help unblock your nasal passages so you can finally smell the beautiful Spring air.
